Tape Touch

🎸 TAPE TOUCH: Dynamic Cassette Preamp & Space Machine
A Max for Live guitar effect that reacts to how you play.

Play soft and it stays warm and clean. Dig in and it saturates, blooms and opens up into delay and reverb. Tape Touch pairs a cassette-style preamp with a reactive tape delay and shimmer reverb, so your guitar can sound like a worn four-track or drift into something that isn't a guitar anymore.

What you get

• 🎚️ Touch-responsive saturation: the harder you play, the more it pushes into warm tape crunch.
• 📼 Cassette character: wow and flutter, head bump, high-end roll-off and tape hiss, all on one Age knob.
• 🌌 Reactive space: Bloom opens the reverb and delay as you play harder, and Duck pulls them back so your notes stay clear.
• 🔁 Tape delay: ping-pong echoes that darken and break up, with optional sync to your Live tempo.
• ✨ Shimmer reverb: big octave-up tails, from subtle room to endless pad.
• 🎛️ 33 presets: from clean tape glue and slapback to Cloud Nine, Glass Cathedral and Deep Space Drone. Save your own with Live's preset button.

Requirements: Ableton Live 12 with Max for Live.
